How much will delivery cost?

UK mainland and channel islands delivery cost is a flat £2.00 per order. However, if you purchase  2 pairs (or more) of any kind, the shipping cost will be FREE. 

European Union deliveries delivery cost is £4.50

Other Worldwide delivery cost is £7.50

When will I receive my item?

Typically, any order will be shipped out the next working day after you place it.

UK orders are sent First Class Royal Mail. So generally speaking from when you place your order, you should receive it within 5 days.

European orders are sent Royal Mail International Standard. You should received it within 7 days.

Worldwide orders are sent Royal Mail International Standard. You should receive it within 10-14 days.

Can I return my glasses?

Yes, we offer a full 14 day 100% money back hassle free return policy for your peace of mind. So long as the glasses are unused and in the same condition that you received you will receive a full refund.

If your glasses are broken, or break within 14 days, we will replace them free of charge.

Where do I return my glasses to?

Please email info@just-glasses.co.uk to say you want to return your glasses and we will email you with a returns number and which address to post the glasses back to. 

You must put your order number and name so we can trace the return. You will be responsible to pay your own return postal fees.

Can I collect the glasses from you?

We do not allow any collections, as all of our orders have to go through our system and be posted out using our delivery network.

How can I pay?

 

We accept Paypal, Visa, Visa Electron and Mastercard.

Alternatively you can make a bank transfer or deposit cash into our bank account. We accept telephone payments too, if you want to make payment over the phone.

READING GLASSES

What strength glasses do I need?

You should visit your local optician who can accordingly advise you which reading glass strength would be most suitable for you. Everyone’s vision is different and Just Glasses are not an optician to offer professional qualified advice. However below is a rough approximation guide which broadly states the reading glasses strengths according to age:

35 to 40 yrs.  +1.00 Strength

40 to 45 yrs.  +1.25 Strength

45 to 50 yrs.  +1.50 Strength

50 to 55 yrs.  +2.00 Strength

55 to 60 yrs.  +2.50 Strength

60 to 65 yrs.  +3.00 Strength

65 yrs+    +3.50 Strength

 

I wear contact lenses or have had refractive surgery. Do I still require/ can benefit from wearing reading glasses?

You will need to visit your local optician to obtain professional qualified advice. Accordingly if they say yes, and have provided you with an according reading glasses strength which will suit you best please browse through our range.

Can I use your reading glasses for driving?

No – our reading glasses are designed for close work only.

How do I look after my glasses?

If the glasses are regularly maintained, our high standard of quality often ensures our glasses last a while. We strongly advise you purchase one of our lens cleaning kits which has a microfibre cloths and accessories for your upkeep.

Which frame should I choose?

People have different preferences of styles – aviator, retro, cats eyes, rimless, rectangular etc. There is no right or no wrong way a pair of glasses can make you look.

For frame widths as a guideline, narrow frame widths are anything up to 131mm, standard frame width 132mm -139mm and above 139mm is considered wide.

Are your reading glasses spring hinged?

Most of our models are spring hinged for added comfort and flexibility of your glasses. You will see in the description which ones have this and which ones don’t.

Can I buy your reading glasses and then put in prescription lenses by an Optician?

No, all our reading glasses and reading sunglasses are “ready made off the shelf” eyewear which have pre-set lens strengths. Are reading glasses are not for the purpose of displacing the existing lenses and replacing them with a  prescribed lens.  

SUNGLASSES

What does polarized mean?

Polarized sunglasses are coated with an additional special chemical film during the manufacturing process which helps reduce glare. It blocks intense reflected and helps you to see more clearly.

Are your sunglasses polarized?

All of our sunglasses are very high quality and all UV protected. The sunglasses which are polarized are marked accordingly in our store.
